I have now added a new content type "material" that can be used by registered users of this site to upload materials to raumgeometrie.de.

To do this, the following steps are required:

• Register at www.raumgeometrie.de. This is a different account than the one used for the forum.
• Now a menu "create content" is available. Choose "Material" and edit your material. Be sure to select the correct language.
• When you´re finished, write me an email, and I will create a link to your material.

Today I compiled the latest version 1.2.11 for Mac OS X. The binaries should run on Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5, Intel and Power PC. Due to a bug in a library the window has to be resized manually on startup.

In case something is not working as expected, please inform me (write an email to support at raumgeometrie dot de). Note that I use the windows version exclusively with my students, which means that the Mac version is not as well tested as the windows version.

New features:

• Name expressions directly when creating them
• Changed the way of selecting objects in the construction: Now points are favored over other objects, such that for instance a point is selected even if a sphere or plane lies before it. I introduced this because the usage of the TAB key is very unintuitive. This should make using the TAB key almost dispensable. The priority of selection is now points > linear objects > planar objects. Of course you can still select other objects by using the TAB key.

Bug fixes:

Version 1.2.10 brings minor new features and bug fixes.

Features: Ticks for the co-ordinate-axes, saving of undo-actions can be switched off now.

Bug fixes: Projection-options are being checked now, position of numbers on the axes corrected, some errors in the construction-protocol (confusion of parallel and normal) corrected.
It is no longer possible to delete objects while constructing or to press undo while constructing. While it had not occured to me that someone would do this, students do ...

Version 1.2.9 contains corrections that could cause crashes in rare cases when using the UNDO-function. Please update!
